Rooted in Our Community

More Than a Veterinary Clinic

At On-Site Veterinary, caring for animals has always gone hand-in-hand with caring for the community we call home. We’re proud to be more than a place for veterinary care; we’re active participants in the Gypsum and Eagle communities by building relationships, giving back, and showing up in meaningful ways.

Our owner and veterinarian currently serves as President of the Gypsum Chamber of Commerce, a role that reflects a deep commitment to supporting local businesses and strengthening our town. We are also proud members of both the Gypsum and Eagle Chambers of Commerce, allowing us to stay connected across the valley and collaborate with other local organizations and leaders.

In downtown Eagle, we are an active member of Eagle Rising, a women-owned business collective focused on supporting a vibrant, thriving local community. Being involved means listening, contributing, and continually finding ways to make Eagle an even better place to live, work, and care for our pets.

Connecting with our clients outside the exam room is just as important to us. Each year, we host our annual client appreciation dinner as a heartfelt thank-you to the individuals who trust us with their pets’ care. It’s one of our favorite traditions and a reminder of how lucky we are to serve such a supportive community.

We also love creating events that bring the community together for a good cause. Our annual Pet Photos with Santa is a free, public event open to everyone. Donations from the event benefit the Eagle County Animal Shelter, helping support pets in need while spreading a little holiday cheer.

Supporting the next generation is another cause close to our hearts. Our owner and veterinarian proudly support the local Rocky Mountain 4-H group. We recognize the important role youth programs play and promote teaching responsibility, compassion, and animal care. By offering discounted veterinary services to these students, we encourage independence by working one-on-one with these individuals. While providing care for these animals, we also educate the students on limiting cross-contamination on animals and supporting their end goal of exhibiting their animals at the fair.

Beyond events and leadership roles, we regularly donate supplies and items to the Eagle County Animal Shelter and look for opportunities, big and small, to support local animal welfare efforts throughout the year.

At the end of the day, community involvement isn’t a checklist for us; it’s a mindset. We are always looking for new ways to connect, contribute, and give back to the people and pets that make this valley such a special place.

Thank you for being part of our community and for allowing us to be part of yours. Because of your continued support over the years, we are incredibly honored to have been named Best of Vail for five consecutive years and the 2024 Business of the Year.
