Dog Tooth Brushing

Oral hygiene is just as important for dogs as it is for people. The American Veterinary Association recommends that an examination of your pet’s mouth, including teeth and gums, be performed by your veterinarian at least once a year to check for any early problems and to keep your pet’s mouth healthy. Brushing teeth is of course one of the best preventative methods in terms of minimizing tartar and bacteria that could build up in the mouth. Though getting your dog comfortable with tooth brushing can be challenging, the process will certainly be made easier with the toothpaste we recommend. It’s linked below and comes in delicious flavors like poultry and beef. We have also linked a finger toothbrush like the one we use in the video. It may take some time, but we hope that you and your dog can work up to daily brushing or some other form of dental maintenance.
