Cat Tooth Brushing

The only part of a cat they will need your help to keep clean is their mouth. Cat dental hygiene is just as important as dental hygiene is for humans, since any changes in oral health could be the result of underlying conditions or could cause them in the future. The American Veterinary Association recommends that an examination of your pet’s mouth, including teeth and gums, be performed by your veterinarian at least once a year to check for any early problems and to keep your pet’s mouth healthy. We recommend that you work up to brushing your cat’s teeth daily. This won’t be easy, but it might be made slightly easier if you use the toothpaste we recommend that’s linked below.
