Equine Coggins & Health Inspections

A negative Equine Infectious Anemia (Coggins test) blood test is required annually when leaving or entering Colorado with your horse. This test takes approximately 3 days for results and a digital test certificate is provided upon a negative result.

Dr. O’Brien is certified as a USDA class II veterinarian which enables her to perform nationwide and international health certifications. Health certificates are necessary for interstate travel with horses and also for entry into most competitions and events. This certificate is provided in a digital format and is available immediately upon completion.
